The IFAD associate Vice President in charge of Program Management Department Donald Brown came on two-day working visit in The Gambia. VP Brown is accompanied by Sana Jatta Director of IFAD West and Central Africa division and Haoua Sienta Country Director Guinea and The Gambia arrived in The Gambia on Tuesday 15th June.
He paid a courtesy call on the Ministers of Agriculture and Finance Honorable Dr. Sabally and Mr. Keita respectively. In both meetings the discussions centered on how to strengthen IFAD’s support to The Gambia and the necessary support needed for ROOTS project.
VP Brown assured the Ministers of IFAD’s continuous support to The Gambia.
