ROOTS PSU meeting with the Country Strategic Opportunities Programme (COSOP) Review Mission Team at the ROOTS Headquarters in Abuko.
The overall objective of the mission is to undertake a mid-term review of the results of the Country Strategic Options Programme (COSOP) for the period 2019 – 2024, with stakeholders in the Agriculture sector, Farmers’ Organizations, Development Partners and the Private sector.
The purpose of the COSOP performance review is to identify, through a systematic assessment of performance, the necessary mid-term corrective actions to ensure that it remains relevant and effective. In addition, the COSOP results review is used to inform the IFAD Executive Board and other stakeholders of the changes. It can also be used to extend or close a COSOP.
